Not that I trawled through all 30 odd pages, but nevertheless a good document that seems to cover all/most eventualities. My recommendation would be though that all Financial/Commercial workings need to be performed and advised by a Professional Commercialista, as there is absolutely no better person best suited to help one navigate the Minefield which is the Italian Tax system, also you would be amazed at what you are allowed to claim for to offset your tax burden.

I totally agree. The report can only be regarded as a general reference, but in Italy it is advisable to engage a Professional Commercialista, as any mistake can be very expensive. In any case, it is always important to understand how the system works, even at an elementary level.

I would ad make sure you get a GOOD commercialista from recommendations as a poor one will cost you money (she says on her 4th!)

If It's just IMU you need doing go to the local INAC office they do it for about €20/30.
