Asian week at Lidls

I'm sure this is old news but thought it needed passing on....

Am off there tomorrow Angie. The selection is not too bad, but the main reason is the Primitivo wine on offer at 1.49 a bottle until 2nd Aug.
If you want to get Asian food on a normal basis, then try Corridonia. The shop is up the small road opposite the small car park/ bus stop.
Chinese and quite a lot of Thai: Just before you get to the large Oasi roundabout on the Fermo road, there is a much smaller one. About 100mtrs prior to that, a small turning to a Conad. In that little precinct is the Chinese shop.

Wow Geo, Primativo wine 1.49 a bottle...sooo tempting.

Head is okay the next day, as usually only drink half a bottle. Went down well tonight with a lovely fine sliced fillet of pork with bamboo shoots, green pepper and oyster sauce on a bed of basmati rice.

My, but that sounds like a delicious meal. 
A bowl of gruel, a crust of bread and a glass of sparkling Vimto at Casa Ghiro tonight. 
However we've been given a bottle of Carignano Del Sulcis (DOC) Riserva Buio Buio vino rosso which is 14% vol. After we've drunk it I'll tell you how my head is (if I can still write!)

... only half a bottle... we are very impressed , must be strong stuff that zinfandel ... not red fans really. We were many years ago, but now predominantly bianco and Italian very much suits our taste...
