Menu di Lavoro

Also would like to ask if anyone knows of restaurants between Pontremoli and Sarzana that serve the fixed price lunchtime menu in August.  We have had lots of lovely all inclusive 3 course lunches for around 11 euros.  However, most of the places we like do not offer Menu di Lavoro during the August holiday period.  Shame!

The problem I think is that most Italian Builders etc., are on holiday in August, so the restaurants can make more for pranzo without the fixed menu. May be wrong, as am not in Tuscany, but think a lot in Marche change in August.

Geo is right, during August most work places close so Restaurants tend to 'make hay while the sun shines'.

Absolutely correct. No "pranzo di lavoro" in August and the last part of July. The excuse may be that the builders are not working; however, the reality is that it is the time of the year when reataurants try to make a bit of money
