EXCELLENT NEWS FROM BAGNI DI LUCCA

The 2nd Bagni di Lucca Art Festival starts tomorrow with a big opening. This year, both Ponte a Serraglio and la Villa will have events. The Art Festival is growing thanks to the efforts of a small group of dedicated people. Here is the Program for 2014 Bagni di Lucca Art Festival 2014 Program

We wish it all the success in the World, the town is dying on it's feet at the moment so anything that will help revive it's tourism will be good for the Town.

Last year the organisers started it with very little resources, even opposition, and they managed to transform empty shops into art galleries. Many thought that there will not be a second year. But here we are. From the original Ponte a Serraglio venues, they have now extended to La Villa and they have an impressive list of participants coming from different countries. Bagni di Lucca has traditionally been a land of art and culture and all this is a positive return to the past. I do wish them a solid success and that they will keep on organising these events every year.
