The news I find most depressing, is that from 2015 Italy must chop another 45 billion from its budget - to stay within the fiscal compact.  When you look at how long it took to not find the 4 billion for IMU, its a complete impossibility.  The national debt is now officially unpayable.  The only way out of it I can see is that ITaly cease to exist and the debt cancels itself.....  For those who say the recesssion is over.. it aint even begun...

I was listening to the RAI yesterday and they were basically saying the same. And to top it all, a judge has frozen the Riva family assets, leaving more than 1,500 workers in limbo Riva Taranto

Yes, dropping out of the Euro might be their only answer and heavens knows where that would leave the people for a very long, long time... In the short time we have been here I see that where they spend their money is like the overall mentality "all fur coat and no....." Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
