The B word
Sadly not a lot of activity here after many years of it being my first stop for info
Does anybody have a link to any OFFICIAL resources on what will happen (here in Italy) to residents from the UK after Brexit, deal or no deal ?
I have seen some items in the UK media saying that this group and that group have said that they have been told all will be well, but nothing official.
Thanks
V

Hi Vicino.
Yes is very quiet on here. One of the last things I saw was the info below:

Hi. Nobody really knows what is going to happen, but at least it looks as if the existing rights of British residents are going to be protected by Italy. In any case, I found this site http://www.britishinitaly.net/ which seems to specialize in these matters and I see that fellow member here, Charlotte Oliver, is there. She is a great lawyer.
God save the UK! Urgent divine help is needed.

Thanks Geo and Gala,
Good to know that there is still a tiny bit of life here after all these years (!).
I have seen some of the 'agreements' reached and at some point I was hoping to see something official. The latest that I have seen is the following about drivers licences.
What an absolute mess !
The guidance - updated on Monday - told Britons living in the EU that from 29 March, when the UK is set to leave the union, that "in the event that there is no EU exit deal, you may have to pass a driving test in the EU country you live in to be able to carry on driving there".
