IMU due

Just a reminder that the IMU is due again on 16th June. This must be the first time in years they've left it alone unless I've missed something!

I was sent by email my IMU/TASI F4 form by the commune on 23rd May - rates do seem the same as last year

Actually, they emailed them to my Italian friend who lives 60 miles away from my place, but now I've signed and scanned the forms, he is liaising with my Italian Bank about paying them  [Only in Italy would this happen]

Last year the F4s came to me in the post [to my UK address] and I signed scanned and emailed them to the bank, who paid them

You're the only person I have ever heard of who gets sent the forms by their comune. The rest of us have to DIY :-)

It has happened for the last couple of years - ever since they failed to set the rate in time, so they told everyone to calculate the June payment using the previous years rate.  They then had to let everyone know what the revised 2nd payment would be, after they had set the rate

I think they got so much paid in [on time] when people were told what to pay, that they have continued to do so. 

By the email address on the email sending out this years F24s, it would appear that they have linked up with a comune about 40km away to jointly prepare the F24s, as its the other comune that sends out the papers.

Our Comune sends ours to our UK address too

Just had an email from my Italian friend. [God Bless Him - everyone should have one]

My bank has emailed him to let him know that they have paid my F24s from my account

Perinaldo has been emailing Tarsu documents and a F24 pre-compiled for two years. The rest doesn't get to us.

Tarsu is the Rubbish Tax though and the comunes inform everyone about that :-)

TARI (exTARSU) is an imposta, so bills must be sent.  IMU and TASI are taxes and therefore calculated by the taxpayer.  If the comune send a bill, all well and good, but they are not obliged to do so for taxes.

Thanks for the reminder (again !) admin, as a resident, I think we again pay nowt other than TARI ? Strange. 

I've also heard but not confirmed that Electricity AND water bills are 'suspended' for some months because of the awful earthquakes ?

IMU 2018 payments due on 16th June.

My F24 was emailed to my Italian friend by the comune [he lives about 120km away from them, so why it didn't come to me direct I don't know]
Signed and emailed back to my friend who emailed them on to my bank who paid it.

I paid the full years tax, rather than split into 2 payments [now and December], just to save the hassle

How do you find out if the commune has set the rate for this years IMU, last year when we inquired in October they told us it hadn't been set so we couldn'd pay our second installment until December which turned out to be the same after all!
