Address in Catasto records
A few years ago we bought a property in Italy, and our address at the time was in East Anglia. We have since moved from that house and now have a different UK address, but we now live here in Italy. Do we need to go to the Catasto to update the address on their records?
We do have residency and Italian Identity Cards.
Many thanks.

Re: Address in Catasto records
You live in ITaly and have residence here. Where you have a second home in the UK is of no interest to the catasto or to the comune - it is only of interest to the tax office who will expect you to pay IVIE on the UK property.

Thanks Modicasa, but you have not understood my real question. Do the records at the Catasto need updating to our present Italian address, or does anybody who needs to contact us have to use the records help by the comune?

Yes, sorry I misunderstood. So you have moved house in italy? The catasto needs no information from you - the notary would have done the voltura when you sold, assuming you sold and bought
